Nepali Congress (NC), which obstructed the House session for the third consecutive day on Wednesday, has called on fringe parties to join its protest demanding prime minister’s resignation.

In a meeting held at NC Parliamentary Party office in Singha Durbar, the main opposition called on the small parties to support its bid to press the government to implement the five-point deal and pave the way for a national consensus government.

Representatives of a dozen fringe parties, including Rastriya Janashakti Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Chure Bhawar Ekata Party, attended the meeting where NC

leaders called on them to help foil the ruling parties’ attempt to reshuffle the Cabinet and prolong the government’s life against the five-point deal.
